Basewood Kickstarter

Public Accounting Page

When my kickstarter surpassed its $10,000 funding goal and its $16,000 push goal, I said that I would use all additional funds to defray production, shipping and storage costs. I set up this public accounting page so that my backers can see exactly how I am spending these additional funds. The spreadsheet below is linked to a Google Document, so it will automatically update as new entries are made. It contains two sheets:

The first sheet lists expenses associated with the manufacturing and shipping of all the backer rewards (Basewood eBook, postcard, Basewood Hardcover, Basewood companion volume, Songs From the Basewood album, Phase 7 Completist books, Watercolors, Monster Plush). These expenses are my first priority.

The second sheet lists all other expenses associated with this Kickstarter campaign (promotion, fees, taxes, etc. etc.) I am prepared to pay these expenses out of pocket, but if/when the initial cost surpasses $16,000 these will be the the items that I use the additional funds to pay off.

If backers have any questions about the information below, please contact me through kickstarter.
