Coloring Like Crazy
Tue 3/3/2009
Well, there's not much to report from up here in White River Junction. I'm spending most of my time these days cooped up in my apartment, working hard on coloring Aaron's next book. We are in the home stretch now, and we are both eager to get it done, so we have both been working super hard lately.
My new iMac arrived a few weeks ago and I have been glued to it ever since. It's about three times faster than my old iMac, which has made coloring so much faster and easier. After all the hemming and hawing I did about whether or not to buy it, I now kind of feel foolish that I didn't buy it SOONER.
It also helps that while I was waiting for it to arrive, I prepared my taxes, which pretty clearly showed that most of my income only comes in because of this computer. So I'm trying my best not to feel guilty about the large purchase... It's a business expense, right? Right.
As far as I can see, the main downside of all this coloring is that I've been doing a lousy job updating the Flickr set of my trip to Europe. After staring at a monitor all day the last thing I want to do is sit in front of the computer again for another hour. I'll get to it eventually...
Well, that's all for now I guess. Thanks to everyone who has written to me, or called me, or emailed me, or left a comment here about Phase 7 #014. It seems like people are having a good time reading it. Woo!

First off, I completely dug #14! Between reading that and talking to Kindt about l'Angouleme all weekend, I'm chomping at the bit to go there someday. The issue was a really great read!
I bought a scanner week, using the same justification.
