Our first illustration assignment was for an old National Enquirer article about space aliens infiltrating American colleges and outperforming the human students. I was pretty displeased with how these colors turned out... So the main thing I learned is SCAN YOUR LINE ART before you color it! That way if you screw it up, you can still color it on the computer.
