Editorial Illustration #1
Our first assignment for Editorial Illustration is to make a black and white spot illustration of a famous figure. I made these thumbnails for my three favorite famous people: Rivers Cuomo, George Lucas and Jim Henson (RIP!) The drawing was supposed to have some sort of subtle twist that showed something about the person or what they do, so I ended up choosing the image of Rivers, wearing a sweater (RE: The Sweater Song) with the Weezer symbol weaved into it.
