Here are the thumbnails for our second Editorial Illustration assignment: a full page illustration in The New Yorker or the Sunday New York Times Book Review (or similar magazine)

We could choose any subject we wanted, so I went with Woody Allen. I either wanted to focus on the fact that his last two movies were made in the U.K. when the rest of his body of work is New York-centric, the fact that he is getting older, but still putting out a movie a year, or the fact that Scarlett Johannson seems to be his latest "muse" as he wrote his last movie just for her and she's been in his last two movies.

After critique, it seemed like the Scarlett-as-muse concept was the strongest, so I'm working on that.
