Printmaking #3
For this assignment we were supposed to bring "found objects" that were the same width (or less) of a penny. We then inked them, put them on an aluminum plate (which could also be inked) and then ran them through the press. This was the first time we used color which was really fun.
I decided to go with facial expressions. Red = Anger, Yellow (our yellow is "dirty" with red in class) = Happy, Blue = Sad and then the teacher suggested I pull off my objects and run the plate through again by itself, which came up with this really cool fourth one, which I am calling "death" :)
