The teacher wanted me to make two tighter sketches for my Wynton Marsalis piece. I thought the New Orleans above-ground cemetary was a little depressing, so I decided to go with the "French Quarter, Wrought Iron Balcony" scene instead.
After the final sketch I did a grayscale study and then a rough color study, using the same medium that the final piece will use, which is photoshop.
