Editorial Illustration II #7
UGH. This did NOT turn out how I thought it would, which is pretty upsetting, because this was definitely my favorite piece of the series. That streaky, motion lined background really got me! :(
Really, this is a lot better than it WAS. At about 2am last night it looked like utter crap and I had a total meltdown. I let it dry, reworked it for a few hours by adding water and trying to "blend" everything and then in class my teacher had me push the values of the coat way down, which also helped to bring the friendly giant FORWARD.
Anyways, I learned a lot from working on this and more importantly, it's DONE!
