Agggh. I have a real blog entry I want to write, but it's late and I need to go to bed. I thought I should post SOMETHING though, since that last post was so negative and people have been emailing me to see how I'm doing (thanks everyone).

I'm actually feeling a lot better, thanks mostly to the fact that the weather cooled off considerably and it has been raining for the last couple of days. It's been nice soft rain, like back home. Even though I can't see it while I'm drawing, just knowing it's raining outside makes me feel better somehow...

Also, I'm going out of town again this weekend! This time to see my good friends Paul and Alison get married. And since I'm going to be "in the neighborhood" I thought I'd swing through Chicago for a few days to visit Charlotte, Dan and Ezra.

It's going to be a bit of a "busman's holiday" as I'm up against a pretty tight deadline for Papercutter #6. I'll still be drawing every day, but at least in a new setting, surrounded by lots of windows and more importantly, by dear friends who I don't get to see very often!

VERY excited about the new Papercutter. The plan is for it to be out at SPX, right?

Yeah... if I don't drop the ball! I have to have a finished, inked page done every two days from now until the deadline. Fingers crossed!

Sounds like a sweet weekend. I hope you have a nice time at the wedding!

D'you know, I really thing having a window again is going to change your world. Just seeing the sky (even if it is grey and wet) really makes a massive difference.
I know that's got nothing to do with this post, I just worry for you.

Thanks for the concern Richard! I couldn't agree more. I think after a year in this space I will never take windows for granted again for the rest of my life!
