Guest SMILE strip!

Wed 1/23/2008

Hey, I drew a guest strip this week for Raina Telgemeier's awesome SMILE web comic. It's all about me trying to play the trumpet with braces back in middle school. Check it out!

And if you haven't already, you should really read back through the rest of the archives and read all of SMILE. It's a great story and Raina has one of the best drawing styles of any cartoonist I know. I can look at her brushwork for hours. I am a full-grown man (with a BEARD!) and I proudly own all three of her awesome Baby-Sitter's Club graphic novels (and I'm eagerly awaiting the fourth one!) Go Raina! :)

Hey Alec! I dunno if you remember me from OSTA... I actually found you THROUGH Raina's post, as I am now a Baby-Sitters Club book collector (I had a random urge about 2 years ago to read the entire series in order and have since moved to collecting) and therefore a big fan of Raina's. Great to see your work here and I'll be visiting again!
