All good things come to an end.

A lot of people have commented on my last few posts, often using the word "DORK" in their commentary. I don't deny that I am a dork. I never have. But come on people. This is IT. NOW is the time to be excited about these things. They won't last forever...

Earlier this year, my favorite Comics story ever, BONE by Jeff Smith, ended. I had been reading it since I was 12 years old and had never missed an issue. I've been listening to Weezer since I was 15 years old, but Rivers is 34 now and Patrick Wilson (the drummer) just had a KID, so I wouldn't be suprised if they packed it in sometime soon. I've only been reading Harry Potter for like 5 years or so, but there is only ONE more book after "The Blood Prince" and then it's over too!

And Star Wars.

Star Wars has been one of the most important things in my life for my WHOLE life. And "Revenge of the Sith" is IT. When I walk out of the theatre on May 19th I will have seen the end of Star Wars.

So I HAVE to be excited, because this is all I have. It's conceivable that within a few short years all of the things I care about will be OVER. Sure, other things will come up, but not things that have been apart of my life since I was a CHILD.

Anyways, this week I'm going to post a three-part blogging to describe my current job at the AIGA because I know everyone is DYING to know how the hell I function in an office setting.
