General Drawing #9
When we were working with ink, I did all of my homework assignments with ink washes. I REALLY like how these look (it's probably my favorite self-portrait I've ever drawn) but MAN were they time-intensive! This stuff has to be layered up, one shade of grey at a time. The lightest gray you see is one layer of gray, so you can imagine how many it took to get all the way up to black!
